To test this mic out, we will be recording Get It On by T-Rex. On this track, I will be on guitar and bass, we have the amazing Blair Sinta on drums, Steve Maggiora on vocals and keys, and Dave Rolicky on horns! We usually get one microphone and we share it around the instruments, but we were lucky enough to be given 4 this time, so Blair took all 4 to his studio and set them up on the drums, which gave us great results. He will give a breakdown of how he set up the mics in the video below! We also have the multitracks for you to download, so you can hear for yourself how this mic sounds! Click here to download the multitracks! The Lauten Audio LS-208 is a large diaphragm, front-address condenser microphone. This mic can handle sound pressure levels of 135 dB without the need for internal padding, which makes it a great choice of extremely loud and dynamic sound sources. The LS-208 also has built-in highpass and lowpass filters, which enable you to capture sound with exceptional quality, right at the source. A unique feature of the LS-208 is its ability to capture the full human audio perception of 120 dB of dynamic range. Many microphones are limited to 85 dB, after compensating for self-noise. This high dynamic range makes it possible for you to capture amazing recording of highly dynamic instruments in many environments, and makes it a great choice for capturing horns, percussions, and guitar amps – all of which we used in our demo! When it comes to picking a hosting company, speed, and reliability matters greatly. When I started selling beats online, I didn’t know much about websites & hosting.
