Splice lets you select individual sounds from libraries upon libraries (since 2017 Splice Sounds also features sound FX from award-winning independent producers!

Splice is legit. At the very least, you can pay for it for one month ($8 or something?) and see if you like it.

Splice just totally removes the need to buy entire sample packs and hope they have what you're looking for. Think about it - out of all the sample packs you've ever used / bought, how many sounds did you actually use from them? 10%? 20%?

It's also really cool because if I'm making a track at 120bpm or something and think "hey this could use some kind of percussion / top loop", Splice makes it super easy to search and filter based on bpm and genre.

I have used it for a little over a year and have over 1000 credits on my account... lol. Still worth it for legit high quality samples without having to buy whole packs.
